They said forge would be in Season 3 back in August.

They announced co-op would come in season 2, and forge in season 3. Also, I think they said they were aiming for these times, so not necessarily official release dates.

I think it is also worth mentioning that they said typical seasons would be 3 months long. Then, come launch, we find out that season 1 would be extended to 5-6 months. So there is some merit to claiming another delay for these things.

if by content… you not only mean stuff to play towards, but also the missing ‘good’ net coding, and required features such as a way to dissable crossplay… i mean, come on, at this point they may as well be content given what little infinite has

They’re both problems dude, and they both need to be solved asap.
If they can only do one thing at a time, they shouldn’t be working with AAA budget.

Personally, for a game that’s only 4 months old, I think it has enough content so far with the various cosmetics, game modes, and maps (compared to what it was like at launch at the very least). To me, the problem lies with how that content is accessed such as the store and the random selection of a game mode whenever you search for a match which can be easily rectified if 343i decide to listen.

I do agree with you though that if they can only do one thing at a time they shouldn’t be working with the budget they have.

Well the point I wanna make is :
This is a franchise which has worked with less and delivered more, and they have done so many times before. Even the past few games by 343 themselves also delivered more on much less.

There’s just no way 343 can defend how little Infinite is delivering right now.

Content in Variety and Creativity is whats needed.

Crossplay is absolute garbage and should never be between pc and consoles.
