I really liked Chips Dubbo’s character so i was wondering if he would make an appearance in Infinite. One funny comment about him was that he could actually be Noble 6 after he survived Reach XD; that’d be really funny. Or perhaps he’s the pilot after he took a break from the war and had a family. Seriously though, i hope he does make an appearance; i think he deserves being part of halo nostalgia given he’s crazy track record of surviving with Chief.

Halo just hasn’t been the same without my favorite Flood Hunter.
I think seeing Chips somewhere would be funny and a welcome revival of classic Halo Easter eggs. A hidden Grunt on the final mission could also be a lot of fun.
If they do this, though, I think they should just keep their lips sealed on it. I think they shouldn’t tell or even hint to us that these Easter eggs will be present (if they will). That’ll make their discovery truly special.
If neither of these come back (or any other classic Halo Easter eggs) it isn’t a deal breaker. But I think it’d be some appreciated levity after two games that haven’t really implemented humor well. I know about the Conan Easter egg in Halo 4, too, before anyone mentions that. It just wasn’t that funny to me. I do like Conan as a personality and most of his comedy, his Easter egg in H4 just didn’t cut it the same way for me.
A return would be a nice Easter egg. He was in all of the Halos except Reach and H5 I think.
