Ok,so in Halo 4,we got the classic Mark VI from beating the campaign on legendary. In Halo 5 beta,we saw the Mark VI classic and Mark VI classic scarred variants. Will Master Chiefs new armor in campaign be customisable in multiplayer like Lockes will?
I’m 99.99% sure it will be available in MP. As to how to acquire it, idk.

I’m already thinking about those YouTube videos exclusively about people opening req packs…
I would assume so. All the other main character’s armors will be available. I just hope Chief’s is hard to get. I don’t want everyone running around in his new armor. I think beating Legendary solo would be a good way to unlock it…
Wait a second. Solo? If we always have our Spartans with us… Can a solo legendary achievement even exist?

That’s dumb so much for having more armors available if you can’t even wear Chiefs armor from the main game.
I don’t see why they can’t put it in. All armor should be available to players (my opinion). We need the full customization options. It could be an apology for no split screen (my opinion) unless they have already apologized.
I think that armor should just be unique to him. Cortana designed it for it. It was a custom job and a goodbye present.
His armor went from being the default in matchmaking to something you had to earn. And you only got the classic variant. Which is fine, because I’m okay with only him getting the new set.
This also makes me wonder about Buck’s armor. If Buck’s ODST-looking armor is in the game, why is the Nightfall armor in there as well? Sure, Buck’s looks more like Reach’s and ODST’s while Nightfall looks more like Halo 2’s ODST armor, but they’re similar enough that having both of them in there would be difficult to distinguish from each other at a glance and take away from the exclusivity of earning Buck’s armor if there’s a knock-off set in there already.
Locke, Vale, and Tanaka are new characters, so there is no legacy behind their armor. The rest of Blue Team and their look never appeared in games before so there isn’t much of a legacy behind their armor either (outside of those of us familiar with them from the extended lore), so I imagine Kelly, Linda, Fred, Vale, & Tanaka will be available as well as Locke.
Although this would be kinda weird for players who may not keep up with everything who are annoyed that they can only play as 6 of the 8 main Spartans without substituting ODST for Nightfall and Chief’s new Mark VI for Classic Mark VI.
So, I don’t know. Just thoughts.

Do we even know what this illusive Mark VII looks like? Isn’t Naomi the only Spartan to have worn it? So, the cover art for “Glasslands”? If so, I’m cool with that because it’s very Mark V-ish … which is good since that armor is very unique and my personal favorite.

So I just did a good lot of searching and I saw no such confirmation. I was thinking “I’ve been on here almost everyday for the past few months, I’m sure I would have remembered something that big. But maybe I just maybe missed it.”
So please, if you still insist on saying that, hunt down a source for us.

That makes no sense. Why have everyone’s else armor in MP but Chiefs? Well then, I guess I got to use the centurion body and mark 6 helmet.

Unless you have a link to the initial source, I can only believe that once the game comes out—if it’s true, that is.
I think that it should remain campaign exclusive, since it would be probably the msot commonly seen armour, regardless of how to unlock it (ex halo 4 mcc mark IV).
Halo 5 needs a bit of all the halos because it will be better for role play and other stuff don’t you agree.?
