One of the biggest issues when playing campaign coop on Halo MCC has been its P2P networking setup, which introduces a lot of lag and stuttering when playing with friends further across the world.
By contrast, games such as It Takes Two or Age of Empires II DE use EA or XBLive dedicated servers for internet coop games, and the experience in both cases has been excellent.
Thus, I hope that Halo Infinite campaign coop on PC will use dedicated servers, otherwise the experience will not be great for many of us. Given the 70B USD that MS spent on Acti-Blizz, I’m sure they can spin up some servers for coop ![]()
