343i has confirmed that the Spartan IV’s will be regular soldiers handpicked to become Spartan IV’s.
Now, I can imagine that they’re picking the best of the best, not some green horn that just came out of basic.
In every Halo game that Buck was in, his bio said that he’s the closet person to be a spartan.
So, will Buck become a Spartan IV in Halo 4?

really? what will the difference be?
Im not sure but i did see a picture that labeled the two as seperate things. Hopefully it is true. If I were guessing, I would say that spartan warriors will be the actual spartans and spartan soldiers will be regular soldiers that have spartan armor.

Spartan IVs are accomplished soldiers who are augmented and THEN put in a Spartan suit they are still super soldiers.
I’ve been thinking about this ever since I learned about Spartan IV’s.

343 also said that some characters would be returning, so why not Buck, the best of the ODSTs?
Hopefully Buck is back as a Firefight voice for Spartan ops because he was a hilarious in Reach.

I didn’t like Bucks character, I don’t understand why so many other people do like him. What other games other then Halo 3 ODST was he in?
