Will blur studio make the cutscenes?

Is it confirmed that E3 trailer is one of the cutscene from halo infinite? I really hope we can get high quality cutscenes just like I halo wars 2 and halo 2 anniversary.

The most recent trailer was rendered with the Slipspace engine, as was the previous one. I expect the other cutscenes to be the same.

Perhaps the prologue and epilogue cutscenes will be pre-rendered like Halo 4 and Halo 5: Guardians, but 343i didn’t use Blur for those cutscenes for those games.

I actually prefer in-engine cutscenes for the games, as it’s a more continuous experience for the player, despite how beautiful the Blur cutscenes look. They work in Halo Wars 1 and 2, because of the RTS format, and they also worked in Halo 2: Anniversary, as it was a celebration of the game, not the original. But if the prologue and epilogue aren’t in engine, I’m fine with that trend from Halo 4 and 5.

I’d rather have in-engine cutscenes. They make for a more seamless transition between cutscene and gameplay.

That slipspace engine looks pretty solid to me even tho Blur studios did an amazing job with H2A.

I dont think so. All the Blur cutscenes from the games they were involved in were made with their own engine, and this cutscene was made with the in-game engine. When the cutscenes are made with the in-game engine, the company that makes the game (343 Industries in this case) makes all the cutscenes. Like in Halo 4: The Prologue and the Epilogue were made by blur, but the other cutscenes were made by 343.

I hope not. Blur does an absolutely fantastic job, but they’re not needed for a game in a brand new engine. It makes sense why they did the cinematics in Halo Wars 2 since the in-game models are only supposed to be seen from a distance, but the Slipspace Engine should be able to stand on its own.
