I played a game of TU Reach for the first time today with the following settings:
200% gravity
110%movement speed
150% jump height
reduced melee damage
This was easily 10 times more fun than any online on Reach I’ve ever played in the history of…EVER! No exaggeration whatsoever when I say this. I’m just wondering if the beta hoppers playlist will feature custom game options such as these? I’d assume not since it’s testing how it works on default Reach…but I hope it will 
You download the game-type and manually change the settings you wish.
There may be game-types that may, out of the box, mimic Halo2 or 3 more closely than Vanilla, but as far as “custom” goes, that’s what customs are for.
The hoppers are preset, based on variables influenced by the community, but purposely implemented by 343i by their design.
In the end, it’s the beta for a reason. They want their hoppers to collect their data. They want our custom games to show off the data and preference of style for us.
