Will The Bandana Skull Be Introduced Into All Halo Campaigns? Halo CE, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3 ODST, Halo 4 and Spartan Ops?
Bandana skull is only seen on H1 thru H2 and is something gamers and enabled. All other skulls in the other games are just collected achievement skulls. I doubt 343 will bring them in to game play like H1 and H2.
I hope it is with the new update coming this year. The campaign is more fun when you don’t have to worry about your favorite weapons running out of ammo; I especially want it for the Halo 3 and Halo 4 campaigns so I’m not constantly forced to swap out my UNSC gear for Covenant and Forerunner weapons. They should also make it available for the Halo: Reach campaign, if Reach is added, as well as ODST Firefight and Halo 4’s Spartan Ops mode.
wait who said it was a possibility?
also fix the bug that doesn’t give most covenant weapons unlimited ammo
I presume no feature adds will be forth coming in this regard. Mostly there looking to fix whats currently broke in match making and changing the menu UI around. They seem to already have a flight plan of how this update is getting developed and rolled out.
I doubt Reach will be added since it didn’t include the chief that story line. Would be kewl though to have it in menu, however I think some some already said Reach isn’t on the docket currently. It’s already backwards compatible using the 360 game disk on XB1 now. H4 Spartan Ops is already in the MCC.

I think that was intentional because the covenant weapons use batteries and not real ammo…

In hce the bandana skull gives all weapons infinite ammo/battery, so I don’t think this was intentional. Just another glitch in the game.

Glitch or not, I think that is fine as it is, there are some other serious bugs that need their attention…

Skulls in Halo 3 affect gameplay as well.
I mean one of their own is experimenting with porting Halo Custom Edition into MCC so I don’t see why they can’t add it to the other campaigns and fix the H2A Bandana where battery powered weapons don’t work. It would incredibly increase the replay value and now that they actually are fixing it they might at least have it like the map porting where it isn’t a priority but it still might be done.

I remember reading the same thing you’re saying in one of the Developmental Updates. They never confirmed Reach/ODST Firefight will never be added to the MCC, it’s just not an idea they’re entertaining for the time being. Granted, I dislike getting my hopes up for things like that, so until it’s confirmed I’ll assume it’s not going to happen. It’s nice to dream though…
Also, Halo Reach on backwards compatibility is absolute trash, it struggles to reach even 30 FPS during CQC and almost every firefight. I am thankful they locked it at 30 FPS though. I remember before the update came out that locked it at 30 FPS, Halo Reach on backwards compatibility was unplayable for the most part. At least it’s somewhat playable now, but I just plug up my good ole’ 360 whenever I want to play Reach since it runs better on there.

I read about map porting from Halo Custom Edition, and I am fairly intrigued to see how that goes. I’ve clocked hundreds upon hundreds of hours on Custom Edition, and some of the user created maps are just mmf so good.
However I feel gameplay altering changes like the ones you’ve mentioned are on the back-burner, if even being considered at all, for now. They’re just trying to get the game to a consistently playable state and trying to bring the population back. They’re focusing heavily on matchmaking and UI changes for now, but hey maybe we’ll see small quality of life changes like that in the future! I’m pretty sure there is a Waypoint thread regarding an MCC wish-list, if you haven’t already I’d consider voicing your wants there for a better chance of 343 Industries seeing it.

I think it would be pretty fun and cool to have unlimited ammo in Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo 4. It wouldn’t be a big deal to me if they don’t change how the Bandanna Skull behaves and the games it’s present in though.
Bandanna isn’t really needed in any other campaigns.
I hope Bandanna comes to the rest of the campaigns in MCC. That’ll add a lot of replay value to Halo 3, ODST and 4. More excuses to my friends why I go Rambo style when I’m shooting.
