I’m really digging from what we’ve seen from Atriox and the Banished so far. I’m excited to see their story and how it plays out in the game. Here’s a theory of mine, by the end of the game or at the end, Atriox will make an alliance with Cortana. She’ll offer him many resources and technology and power, which he’ll accept. Then in Halo 6, we’ll continue to fight the Banished, but with fancy Forerunner stuff given to them by Cortana. Then in Halo 6, we’ll actually get to fight Atriox himself, as we probably won’t be fighting him in Halo Wars 2. This is just a theory, what do you think?
If he survives Halo Wars 2 I would assume.
Unknown as we have next to no information on him and the Banished in addition to not knowing their goals.
Heck, we don’t even know if he will survive Halo Wars 2 yet…
I’m hoping he does survive, as he’ll be in more than one entry in the universe. I think either he’ll team up with Cortana or he’ll actually team up with Cutter and eventually both groups will meet up with John, Thel, and the others.
I would love to see Atriox survive, and ally with Cutter against The Created and/or The Flood.
Atriox strikes me as a pretty intelligent guy. I am hoping 343 brings the first gameplay allied Brute with Atriox.

I’d actually really like that. Then in Halo 6, we’ll team up with the crew of SoF (Blue Team meeting up with Red Team again!!) and yeah, an in-game Brute ally!!
I douby he would ally with Cortana but I know that he wont be dumb and join the good guys at the end in a truce to end Cortana.

Why don’t you think he’ll do either or? I’m just guessing here, but I don’t believe he’ll leave this game and not be on the heroes’ side or the Created. I think he’ll play a part in Halo 6 on one side or the other.

I think we are overdue to fight along side The Brutes. Personally, this ONE thing is what I am waiting for.
I would like to think that Atriox, and the Banished, resisted The Covenant because they did not want to be subjugated. If I am right, it only makes sense to resist The Created with the same zeal, if only to avoid subjugation at the hands of an AI. An alliance with the UNSC and the SoS would not only enrich the lore, by showing some actual social progress with Brutes (in the form of breaking the dumb ape stereotype, which I find to be utterly ludicrous), as well as showing that the galaxy, as a whole, is moving forward, past the atrocities and mistakes of the Human/Covenant war and The Schism.
I can sorta see why Atriox and The Banished are seemingly hostile to the crew of the SOF at first, but, I think as the threat of the created becomes more real, I hope Atriox will realize who the real enemy is, and I hope 343 gives him the depth necessary to really think it through, and make the right decision.

I hope not, I hope we move past the Covenant and get introduced to a new threat of aliens. I don’t know when the Precursors will return (let’s be honest, they WILL return), so maybe they’ll be the big bad eventually…

I have a feeling we will be meeting a new race of aliens at some point and having humanity, the banished, the former covenant, the created, and possibly forerunner remnant facing off against whoever landed that mysterious ship on 04.

I really hope they keep atriox alive and the banished is re-inroduced in halo 6. I wanna the Banished maybe put up a fight with the Storm Covenant than team up later on.

They just seem to be building them up too much to just be around for just one game. I think either they will ally with Cortana or with the other heroes.

One of the most promising things about Halo Wars is that the Created haven’t reared their ugly heads yet. I honestly don’t want Halo Wars 2 to have anything to do with Halo 5.

It’s a little late for that, friend. I’m fairly certain 343 have already said the Reclaimer Saga and Halo Wars will be intertwined. Multiple times.
