I would like to see some confirmation on the return of assassinations, I’m pretty sure they will come back since assassinations are pretty much a staple in halo’s gameplay, and considering all the different ones you could get in halo 5. We don’t need to see any, 343 can surprise us with the cool animations but a simple yes would be reassuring.
Can’t imagine why 343 wouldn’t bring back assassinations. They’re one of my favorite parts of Halo 5’s customization system! I’d love to see the Supernova animation make a return. It’s so over-the-top and I love it.

Absolutely man they need to go even more over the top this time too and make some truly awesome and just egregious assassinations. only problem is how long they take to perform but hey risk reward right?
Given they’ve been in since Reach, I see absolutely no reason as to why they wouldn’t be included. It wouldn’t make sense not to have them.
My guess is they will and they just haven’t shown them but I think they have either made a clearer distinction between a beat down and assassination so players don’t accidentally do one over the other or it is an option that can be toggled.

There is pretty much no way they are taken out at this point, they are a staple of gameplay now.
I hope they retain some of the Halo 5 assassinations. The plasma grenade Super Man throw is awesome.
Being able to choose 10 to 15 favorite kills out of 110 available would be great.

I hope so. Given how 343i is emphasizing player expression even more in Infinite, I’d imagine 343i would definitely keep it to sell the idea of a player’s Spartan being their own.
They probably will be back in infinite if not it might just be like the ones in halo 3

i think there would be some serious protesting if they didn’t. say what you want about halo 5, but one of the coolest things about that game were the crazy assassinations, they better return!!
I’m ok with assassinations if I can toggle them off. I’m not a fan but I respect others are. Toggle is the best option imo.

It’d be stupid if they didn’t. So it appears they are “off” based on the videos.
I think we will see them return, I am not a fan of using them but the community seemed to like them.
