So far we know he’s in the trailer, but do you think he will actually be seen in the campaign?
I hope that he is playable, like how in Halo 3’s co-op, player 2 is the arbiter, and 3-4 are just elites.
I really hope 343i did something like that for this game. The arbiter was my favorite character in the halo series and I’d like to see him in it again.
He should be in halo 5. he takes place in the cutscenes at the beginning and end of halo 2 anniversary. (which take place right before halo 5.) I think some levels are going to be like they were in halo 3, (Except player 3 is a spartan, and player 4 is an elite.) and some levels would be like in halo 2, where all players play as arbiter, or all players play as Locke.
He was in the MCC cutscenes with Locke, I’d be surprised if he wasn’t in the game.
He won’t be playable, Chief and Locke are the playable characters, looks like they are getting their own teams for co-op characters as-well.
Well they confirmed that Master Chief and Locke are both playable, so I doubt Arbiter will have his own missions, although I could very well see him as a Co-op character.
He’ll show up, don’t worry. And he might even be more significant that just being MC’s wingman in H3 this time! As for being playable, I doubt it. The H2A cutscenes showed three chromatically coded Spartans lurking in the background, whilst the elites on the side all looked the same.

Actually there was no mention of Chief being a playable character in halo 5. Just FYI.
Hold on, could someone show me a link to where MC was confirmed a playable character? because everything I have heard since 2013 is that MC is not a playable character.

Nothing has ever said that Chief is not a playable character.
Rather, we’ve had 343i say several times that Chief is the main protagonist, with Agent Locke as a new playable character.
Pure speculation, but is not the Prophet’s Bane Arby’s personal sword? Now, I have a funny feeling that these legendary weapons aren’t gonna be exclusive to multiplayer. So, either well get to play as Arby, get to use his sword, or, something could happen that means Locke or Chief use it…
