will any of the armor in halo 4 have some special ability that activates when u wear it?
i think i heard some people online say that they will, i wont let something like that bother me too much but its just that i dont like the idea and if it happens then ima miss being able to look how ever i like with out thinking about what the armor does (sorry if i didnt make much sense)

No. Only the specializations you have will alter the abilities you get.

This, I can see where some confusion can be found though. There are eight specialisations to rank up in, each one has unique armors, visor colours, skins and separate gameplay tweaking upgrades available only to players who have taken up/completed that specialisation.
So while the armor’s don’t change gameplay themselves, people who have unlocked certain armors will have also unlocked the separate upgrades from that specialisation.
