Will Action Be Taken?

So I was playing BTB on Halo 5 as usual I went for the sniper at the start of the game, and got it. Another player wanted it as well so he betrayed me. I was pretty upset so I went and betrayed him for my sniper back. I understand that what I did was hypocritical, but it was the heat of the moment and I was angry. Anyway after I took it back his buddy and him trailed me for the rest of the game betraying me when I had took damage so it wouldn’t be counted as a betrayal. I reported them both on Xbox Live, but I’m wondering if anything is actually going to be done, or are they just going to get a strike on their reputation? I really hope it’s not the just the reputation because a single report won’t be enough to effect them at all. Any information on the subject would be much appreciated.

Nothing will happen, sorry you got killed a bunch, but you can’t do much to harm their reputation.

This seems like a post back in h2.
This is also why it’s better to play as a group, (your company can help supply team mates)

This seems like a really flawed system. You can pretty much get away with anything as long as you don’t do it too often. Even if their rep does go down it barely effects anything. Its so frustrating that people like this can just get away with it.

Yes I usually do, but none of my buddies were online at the time.

Is there any way I could talk to a Microsoft employee about the issue?

I actually laughed out loud when I read this. Dude I get you’re pissed but it’s time to let it go. You gave in and retaliated and now you’re looking for administrative action? It’s not gonna happen, not for something so minor. Now if they sent bad messages, or something along those lines you’d have a case, but in-game shenanigans almost never are enforced, unless tampering has occurred (hacking).

I didn’t mean to speak about my current situation. I wanted to ask some questions about the current reputation system and bans.

That will never happen. This has been going on day one of Xbox.

Put the controller down and read a book or do some aerobics.

I had a similar situation Yesterday. Like you I was playing BTB, I grabbed a sniper rifle and someone betrayed me for it. When I re-spawned I found him and when he saw me he started shooting the sniper rifle in the air to waste the ammo and keep me from getting it. I was really pissed. Friendly fire needs to be removed.
