Will achievements be kept between diff xbox's

So yeah, me and my friends were gonna do the ODST Vidmasters and the Halo 3 ones since we haven’t done them and we want to give them a go… My friend though doesn’t have either Halo 3 or ODST, and i was planning to go to his house to do them. But if i recover my account on his hard drive and xbox and we do the achievements and complete them, will this mean that i have only done the achievements on his hardrive or not… Like when i go home afterwards and go on my hard drive and xbox, will i have the achievements still unlocked or not…

Long as your signed into Xbox Live when you do the achievements, when you go to recover your account back to your 360 they’ll be unlocked.

Achievements stay with your account. Not your xbox.

I didn’t know there was another thread about this but the answer is no, it won’t save to his hard drive, it will save to your Xbox Live account. Once you unlock the achievement, you have it for good.
