Hi! I want to start streaming Halo 4 on Twitch, and was looking to buy a capture card, like this one, to stream Halo 4 on Twitch, but will it work with the Xbox One? I don’t want to buy it and only use it for like 3 months, so ya: Will this capture card work on the Xbox One too? Or does anybody know yet? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
God Bless you
Xbox One is supposed to support game capture devices, just like the 360. The Xbox One also has a deal with Twitch, so you can stream content directly from the Xbox One to Twitch without a capture device.

Yes, you can use any capture card and HD PVR with the Xbox One, although you can do it with the Xbox One’s Game DVR, it is of course limited to prevent overheating, and you cannot edit clips together do commentaries, montages, and most importantly, upload it to Youtube. So getting a capture card or HD PVR is highly recommended if you want to do that sort of stuff. Although on the other hand, the PS4 does not due to its HDCP, and honestly, I have no idea why Microsoft isn’t using this against Sony, since Sony is using every tiny detail about the Xbox One against Microsoft.
This video explains it all:

If you get one of the capture cards you linked in your post, make sure you get the pro version. The standard Roxio Game Capture only records in stardard definition (even though it has component HD input) and no HDMI input. I know because I used to use one.
The pro version on the other hand supports both component HD and HDMI input, since it is confirmed that the Xbox One only uses HDMI output. Plus the Roxio Pro has an inbuilt live streaming option in its capture software. But there are other capture cards available that offer slightly better video quality than the Roxio Pro, such as the Elgato Game Capture (which also has a rewind function on its software in case you missed something, even if you weren’t recording) or the Hauppauge HD-PVR 2 (Hauppauge are known for their great video quality and product warranty).
Any of the 3 above will be perfect for what you need, the choice of which one you buy is up to you.
