Will 343i still celebrate bungie day?

I just want to know if they will because if they don’t, me and a few friends will hold a ‘burn bright; burn blue’ day.

I agree!!! They should do it, to remember the creator’s of the Halo franchise!!! And if not, they at least have, have a Bungie Day playlist, and have the 343i employees team up and verse the world, just to celebrate their taking over the Halo series.

i think they definitively should other wise that would show complete disrespect to the founders of halo!

I highly doubt they will celebrate Bungie Day!

They celebrated 343 Day last year with great success so I would imagine that will be the date to mark on your calender…

I think the fans (us) will make more of it then 343 will, but it would be awesome to celebrate that for the next decade, Bungie deserves it =)

completely agree

Hopefully not. I don’t want attention being drawn away from whatever Bungie is going to do on their day. It would be cool if they acknowledged it though.

I imagine Bungie will still be celebrating with festivities of their own. That’s definitely not something 343 needs to do for them.

They should have 7x the credits when you play Reach!

> They should have 7x the credits when you play Reach!

Yep, because this is apparently the only way to make a Reach playlist popular.

I will turn up my nose at Bungie during “Halo day”. They deserve no respect for completely skewering Reach.

I highly doubt it. They might do a 343 day, not sure what day it would be on though. Maybe the 3rd day of the 4th week of the 3rd month every year?

Highly doubt it, though they do have a “343 day”.

They did one a few months back, don’t quite remember when. They ended up giving away a ton of codes though for DLC if I remember correctly.

I don’t really want them to do it unless bungie is joining them in it. 343i isn’t bungie but i think 343i should have something of their own accord. I think it would be cool for halo 4 for to be released on the 343 day of the year

Yes they did that! DLC for Halo wars, sword codes, Avatar props, ECT

Why would 343 celebrate Bungie day? Its a “holiday” exclusive to Bungie.

343 has Halofest and 343 day.

Only 343 day, currently Halofest was a one-off.

I personally like something more like Halofest, or rather, a celebration around the same time of Halofest. 343 day is nice, but I think it comes to late in the year. I loved Bungie and the 2011 halofest because they were something nice to look forward to during the summer. 343 day is near the end of the year, and didn’t have the same “umph” that Halofest or Bungie Day did.

There is no need, i don’t really see the point unless you want more credits or something.

However, that doesn’t mean there shouldn’t be a 343i day or something similar to that. I just don’t think 343 needs to be celebrating Bungie.day when they are not Bungie and could be better off doing their own thing for the fans.

That’s like asking if France will start celebrating July 4th.

343 has no reason to celebrate another company’s date of founding.

If you want to celebrate Bungie Day gasp go to Bungie.net. They’ll be celebrating it there. They didn’t go out of business, you know.

They’re likely to announce their new IP then. Also, some people who got Bungie Swag Bags during that giant fiasco on Amazon received golden tickets in ther Swag Bags that they were told to hang on to until Bungie Day this year.

Bungie day was to celebrate Bungie becoming their own entity in the gaming world by seperating from Microsoft. Theres no reason to celebrate the day the halo franchise left Microsofts control, when Its back in microsoft’s (343i is run by microsoft) control.
