Will 343i address broken customization promises? Or anything at all about customization complaints?

I am happy that 343 has given some direct response to some serious issues the community has brought up, such as BP progression, challenges, and playlists. I’ve noticed they’ve been particularly selective about which critical and constructive feedback they’ve actually acknowledged though. This most recent update gives a LOT of welcome information about ranked, playlists, connections, and sbmm- but there is still no mention of customization at all.

They promised it wouldn’t be a fomo engine, that we’d have “millions of customization options”, and that a lot of it would be able to be acquired “just by playing the game”. This has been brought up in countless Waypoint threads, frontpage Halo Reddit posts, Halo youtuber videos, and twitter posts. I really wish 343 would at least similarly acknowledge that there is something wrong here, even if they don’t have a plan for fixing it yet.

I just saw a video of SeanW and it make a lot of sense. They will provably never address it because people is paying the stuff.

If the store would be a waste of money, because people complaining about the stripped Battlepass, the stupid color system, etc WITH their wallet and not only on the forums/reddit… then they would hurry the changes to make it more competitive.

If you see someone with premium stuff in multiplayer give them thanks. Is is their fault that Infinite has become a cash grab.

Don’t worry. They will fix it…In 2-3 years from now when a majority of the player base has already left it.

I have to agree with Sam. Since CoD and BF were a total failure, there is a good chance more people will still play the game.

Tbh i really think they saw how cod and bf fail this year and realize they could just charge and do whatever they wanted. Where are the new platyers gonna go? 2042? Vanguard? Older games (they should, but they wont)?

They’ll fix it when people stop spending, which is not gonna stop anytime soon.
There are alot of players who think it’s okay to sell us bundles for 20 bucks instead of you know, letting us buy what we want from a catalogue.

This week is another Reach bundle, with the 55 breather attachment for Helmets which I’ve used since the beginning of Reach. And I’m not gonna buy it, because it’s in a bundle with a ton of things I don’t want.

Like look 343, I don’t mind spending, but why must you make it so hard for me to even consider spending?
