Do you think 343/Microsoft can track the 360 owner and ban his XBOX while also getting him into custody for theft? I hope they do.
They are not the FBI.
I most sincerly hope so. Having the game and playing offline, that is one thing.
Playing it online en posting spoilers online, those must be brought to the banhammer of Thor!
Probably just a spanking.
> They are not the FBI.
doesn’t mean they can’t enforce laws of their own products…
> They are not the FBI.
No but they are the most powerful company in the world(Microsoft).
As far as I know, anyone who got caught playing online got their account permanently suspended, but all they really have to do is get a new gamertag.
Yes, for those who have halo 4, will get a permanent ban! Said by microsoft.
343 won’t do anything but Microsoft will.

They don’t have enough resources to go after every single person in the United States/the world that download the game. Microsoft will go after people that’s leaking the game and uploading the game to torrent sites.

that is the sad truth. I do hope they’ll get banned, but they’ll just make a new GT.
I’m not even sure an IP ban would function.
343 and MS, but i think good ol’ Microsoft should rain hell on these leakers. I think MS is better with discipline. To be honest, i have always liked the way MS set up its rules.

They ban the gamertag and console permanently.
Microsoft has already banned people from xbox live that has halo 4 early (unreleased).

Good.

I think it’s kind of pointless playing on Xbox Live if you downloaded the game because I don’t even think the servers are up and running so you can’t even play multiplayer.
They deserve to be beat up by the fans and knock the -Yoink- outta those dirt bags, the leakers have dried my patient of waiting i wish halo 4 could just come out tomorrow. i swear waiting for things in life is no fun and its so freaking boring, id like to just walk up to the guy who stole the copy and punch him in the eye and kick em where it really fing hurts for being such a an -Yoink-

Wrong. U.S. laws and jurisdiction ends with International boundaries. After that, it’s up to International law enforcement to handle the circumstances. Microsoft can ban their own products though. So no worries, they’ll get a new GT after spending however much to get another Xbox, Xbox Live, and a GT.
