Will 343 ever increase are local files limits?

Was kinda down about how they didn’t increase it with the release of Halo Reach, 50 is to small for the vast amounts of content that can be created and with new forge objects half are file storage was already full, I’m hoping with the release of pc files hare we could see 500 maps and 500 game modes, pc basically has unlimited if you do it manually we should get an increase I like the 50 I have but I barley have any reach modes cause of this

I agree completely. 50 variants just isn’t enough. Hopefully they increase it when the custom games browser comes out.

I really want them to increase the file size limit. I think everyone would appreciate that very much. Maybe we should be vocal about it after halo 4 comes out, so they continue improving the games as well.

Your not alone, yes the file size limit really does hinder us Forgers.

Halo 4 and 5 from what I know, let’s you have as many maps as you want, or it at least feels like that, if MCC needs a limit, at least like 500 to 1000 man, there’s way too much to have a 50 map/game mode limit.

the same is with Halo Reach, I kid you not on the 360 I have over 1300 saved Maps just on Forge World Alone.

Oh shoot, I actually thought reach had a 1000 file limit, that’s sick.

Nope, I didn’t. If not I was lucky somehow. My loading times for those maps to appear took forever sometime I had to wait up to 5 minutes for the menu to load. I kinda had too many maps. lmao. But yeah, at solid 100 maps per game would suffice. Halo2A (100 Limit) Halo 3 (100 Limit) Halo 4 (100Limit) and Halo Reach (100Limit) would make a decent amount of maps to load so 500 would be perfect if it was an overall map loading. Base on my experience from Halo Reach having soo many files anything beyond that causes the game load times to start increasing. So 1000 is a bit excessive but 500 would be a good point to hit. I was originally only thinking 50 maps per game which would’ve been a total of 200 maps total. Either way would work.

I want to save more Custom Games. I’m missing a bunch, but can’t get them because of the limit

I’m thinking I’m going to try and rally some support on this. IDK if 343I even realizing that some players experiences are kinda hindered by the file limit. I use to have all sorts of game types from Invasion, to slayer, to Jenga, to ice cream man, to gladiator arena, trash compactor, to Fat Boy, to Hog Potato. Who remembers Halo Chess?

I know right? What is the point of keeping it at a cap of 50? In OG 3 and Reach, your cap was your storage space. I had to delete a file just to make room for another.
Raise the cap for both maps and gametypes.

well I never really tried loading it on new hardware. There was obveously a reason they put a limit but for that reason I do not know. I know that they can do some tweaking at somepoint.
