I’ve been complaining for a while now about the huge, gaping performance issues with the MCC. I bought an Xbox One X hoping that there would be less issues, but I’m finding atrocious frame rate drops in CEA, Halo 2A, and even Halo 3s new map. Why is this happening? These games worked smoothly when I bought the MCC… and the only reason I bought the MCC was to play these games. I’m confused as to how/why seasonal content is still going forwards without this being addressed? It’s not a known issue for any of the consoles. I’m finding the Halo 2 Anniversary campaign in particular to be totally unplayable with its performance. I end up going back to classic graphics, or its laggy enough that I can’t play.
Does anyone have insight into why this is happening? Will 343 ever publicly acknowledge this and address it? I’m starting to think I might have to disconnect my xbox live from the internet, delete the MCC, and install it from the disk to play the campaigns I paid for in their unbroken form from before the Reach update. Had been interested in a Series X but I can’t justify buying it when I see that people are having the same issues on that console as well.
