We all know Halo 5 was not the story that they strongly said it was going to be about.
This has been discussed in great magnitude already.
Yes. No. Maybe.
The birds will tell.
I wouldn’t personally count on it.

Some just can’t let it go…
I thought these posts where over. If it means anything to you apparently 343 apologized for the campaign. I don’t have a link you could probably Google it if you’re interested enough
No, they won’t.
This isn’t even the first Halo game that was falsely advertised.
Remember when Halo 2 was about a huge battle on Earth and “it will never be the same”, only for you to spend a total of 3 missions on Earth before spending the rest of the game on another Halo ring sharing missions with some alien that kills other aliens?
It’s all about that hype train. It fooled me, but I don’t care anymore. Can’t we just drop this. Other companies do it too ‘Cough, No mans sky, cough’

I’m still waiting for an apology for the Halo 2 false advertising … “Defend Earth of the Covenant Invasion!!!” Whoa? Holy crap, the Covenant found Earth? In CE, it was all like “do not let Cortana fall into Covenant hands, Chief, they’ll learn the location of Earth and we’ll all be doomed. DOOOOMED!” And now, they’re HERE!!! This is going to be epic!!! … for two missions … one of which you stand on a tiny two story building fighting nine (NINE [9]) waves of enemies yawn before … wait, who’s this guy? Who am I? This isn’t Chief … why am I playing as someone that we Halo fans are going to collectively hate until the next game releases and then we will all love and hold dearly? This was not in the advertising. They NEVER advertised that we’d be playing as anyone other than Chief. And what they did advertise was only 2 of 15 missions (I guess 3, Cairo is technically defending Earth since it’s Earth’s last line of defense). But still.

^^^ sorry, I didn’t see this before posting my rant about the same thing. But good that someone else remembers. lol.
It’s too late for them to apologize, wouldn’t count on them doing it anyways.
Your apology is in the mail.
Where have you been OP? This has been discussed to death already. Please delete.
Doubt it. I’m sure an apology won’t calm the anger on the campaign.
I had to check the date of the thread cause I thought it would be 2015. Admitting they falsely advertised something just opens the door for lawsuits so don’t expect an apology.
The related question is will you believe or pay attention to ANY of the marketing for Halo 6?

Not necessarily a lie, there was a battle on earth just not as a big as people might have wanted or expected
You’re playing with fire OP bringing this topic back. It’s just too late for any of this.
Press Conference is at 2pm ET tomorrow

Or even shown according to the E3 demo.
Earth was barely attacked since Regret ended up there on accident and was leaving. Then you have stuff like the slipspace rupture and Truth’s forces, stuff you don’t see the effects of until later.
Halo 3: ODST did Halo 2 better than Halo 2.
