will 1 flag ever come back?

Since 343i took over, it appears 1 flag has gone by the wayside. I really miss this game mode. My friends and I used to play customs with little else. Please 343, please please please bring back 1 flag.

343i never had 1 flag in H4, looks doubtful it’ll be in H5

1-Flag is one reason Team Objective did horrible and died in Halo 3. But, Bungie never really managed their gametypes very well. While I don’t mind 1-Flag, it’s tough to make it work otherwise many just see it as a waste of time and I understand why it’s left out, especially if it means that a good CTF gametype comes up more often.

… But Halo 2: Anniversary had 1 flag (I remember playing it alot in the map Remnant), maybe in a future update, they can bring 1 flag back

I just want to be able to create a 1-Flag game where you only have one life to lose and if you kill the opposing team you win a point. Similar to breakout in that regard. But you have normal shields and life.

1 flag on zanzibar = GOAT

neutral bomb assault needs to return aswell

the only difference between neutral bomb and neutral flag is the arming times… you could just set up the flags like in a breakout game where you return it at the opponents base

I must admit, when playing with my family we used to love the objective gametypes. Especially one flag, or one bomb etc… It gave us a fighting chance against much more skilled opponents, and my kids could be given assignments and actually enjoy the game rather than just running into some bloke who is in some sort of best mode slayer mindset.

Too few objective games in Halo 5 atm. Just look at the objective playlist and see how many times ‘slayer’ or indeed ‘breakout’ pop up in the rotation. Fk’n stupid considering they already have their own playlists for people who wanted to play that sort of stuff.

I guess when 343 decided to get former ‘pros’ in to do most of the ideas for multiplayer they forgot the casual gamer out there who enjoys CTF, Bomb, Grifball, Mongoose racing (which is now totally screwed in Halo 5). Poor form imho.
