A Moa, in space.
Hire this man 343.
That’d be pretty cool if I could purchase a ton of moas and place them in the same spot, but unless they arrange the spawn points so that you can never kill them all, it would be rather annoying to try to actually MAKE something in forge but have some giant animal in your building area. But only if they were there as soon as I started up the map.
I wish Forge Island had spawn able creatures.

Doesn’t this happen every time you play on Impact?
OT: There is so much they could have done with forge that they didn’t do. It’s disappointing really.
you people would make funny screenshots with halo 4s green screen
Yes OP! I would love to see these creatures in forge. In addition, wouldnt it be awesome to be able to place lifeworkers and have them building structures in the background, grunts playing around, a herd of Moa running around. Man, I hope that these dreams come true one day.

But you have to think, that’s only one Moa, there could be 15 more!
The flying manta ray thing disappeared so I don’t think 343 cares for the wild creatures

I just got the most hilarious image of a team of Red Spartans riding on a bunch of moa with these in their hands hurtling towards a group of blues.
In space.
Oh the hilarious gametypes that could come around if we had animals in forge…

The UNSC should of manned the Moa’s as a noble steed and destroyed the covenant and won everything

flying manta ray thing?

I think he might have meant this:

Seriously? Obviously this would be a HUGE waste of resources.
If we’re going to be putting ANY AI in forge it should be obvious who it should be.
The covenant
The scenarios you could create with custom maps and place-able covenant would be INCREDIBLE.
Forgeable Firefight!
lolporcupine no thanks

Don’t you dare insult Space Porcupine RIP 2009-2010.

thats a great idea!
Unfortunately, it would not be possible to include AIs in Forge, as they already have to be programmed to the map itself, but with the addition of player built structure, it would be impossible. This is why they did not have Forge for Firefight, because the player would have to program the enemy’s behavior in every area of the map. Where they would walk, where they would take cover when shot, where they would advance to the players position, where they would fall back to, where they would spawn, what objects they could interact with, and the list goes on. Having a map built with the structure pallet on Forge Island would make the player have to code how the AI would interact with each object, and with endless possibilities with each object would make it nearly impossible for the player to understand it, and for the game to provide an interface for it. It would be possible for people who understand computer programming and are dedicated forgers, but it would be very time consuming and very irritating just to get an AI to even move.
In a word: YES
I remembered that Halo Reach had fishes on the map Reflection. Man I sure had fun fishing…
I would love to see wildlife in Halo 4. It would create a new and more interesting environment.
Yes put Moas into the game so I can run them over!
