I’ll do my best to answer this 343 has specifically said that we made a tough decision to not include split screen in H5 because we want to give gamer the best possible experience they can get.
If your talking about the new halo game then yes they have confirmed that will support split screen.

Halo 5 not having split screen was one of the biggest disappointments ever. I remember when I found out it was when I was gonna play it for the first time with my girlfriend and I was searching high and low through the menus. Eventually I googled it and I was like nooooooo way, you gotta be kidding me.
Halo 6 will have four player split screen though, it’s been confirmed, so we still have that to look forward to.
As noted above, Halo 5 does not have support for splitscreen and it’s not something that will be added to the game.
