I play using Legacy stick controls. They’re a little archaic but they’ve always seemed more natural to me. Up until two nights ago I’ve never seen this issue surface. But now Legacy controls do not work for Halo 4. When I set the stick controls to Legacy it still acts like it’s set to default. In the other games they work fine. And in Halo 4 the Default and Default Southpaw control schemes work. This is a very weird, very specific glitch and it doesn’t seem to coincide with any update. It just happened out of the blue. Well, I guess it happened when they add SWAT back in.
But to reiterate, this only seems to happen for the Halo 4 controls, and it only seems to affect Halo 4’s Legacy/Legacy Southpaw stick options. Has anybody else had this issue, and is this even an acknowledged glitch by anybody else but me? I’m at my wit’s end. I’ve been mulling the idea of reinstalling the game. I know it sounds weird but I absolutely can not use Default controls. I end up running around in circles like a one-legged duck (it’s a sad sight). If anybody has experience with this or advice please help.
