Why is it that EVERYBODY IN THIS GAME uses nothing but magnums? Seriously, it’s all I freakin see. It’s freakin obnoxious. I can’t even use my favorite weapon (AR) because it’s a magnum spam fest for every slayer game I get thrown in to. It’s really freakin irritating.
Because it is the go to weapon in Halo 5. Like the DMR and BR in previous Halo games.
CE: Everyone uses pistols
H2: Everyone uses BR’s
H3: Everyone uses BR’s
Reach: Everyone uses DMR’s
H4: Everyone uses BR’s/DMR’s with occasional LR and Carbine
H5: Everyone uses magnum
Because utility weapon.
it should get a very slight Nerf.
There are many weapons on the map that beat the Magnum. The AR is pretty strong too. If you don’t want everyone to fight at medium range where the Magnum and various other weapons are most effective then ask 343 to design maps with no lines of sight and only close quarters battle. Although, I’m not sure who would want to play that.
In Warzone I probably get more kills a game with my AR than Pistol. Once BRs are out I rarely see it

In my opinion this displays that the weapon lies exactly where it belongs on the balance scale. If it was OP a large number of people would keep using it over BRs in Warzone, but almost everyone ditches it right away.

I go
AR + Pistol–> AR+BR—>SMG+BR—>SMG+DMR most games.
Some games I play the whole game with my silenced BR though.
