Why would you do this to Recruit armor?

Before I start, know that this is not a complaint about the LE. I have the LE and I am actually quite satisfied with it when I thought that I would not be.

Alright, so anyways how many of you at one point thought that the Recruit armor was EXCLUSIVE to the Limited Edition? One of the major selling points of the LE for me was the exclusive Recruit armor and access to future maps.

It turns out that the Limited Edition does NOT come with Recruit armor, rather just the ‘Prime’ armor skin for Recruit. I have a real problem with this. I don’t really care if the Recruit armor is exclusive or not to the LE (however, I love wearing helmets that not everybody gets access to aha) but I do have a problem that EVERYONE starts off with the full Recruit Spartan armor in-game. The Recruit armor looks so bad–Yoink- and is one of the very few armor sets in Halo 4 that looks like it could have been taken from a Bungie Halo game. The Recruit armor is so awesome so why make everybody start off with it? Such bad–Yoink- looking armor should take some work towards earning.

The biggest problem I have with Recruit is that all the little kids are going to wear it. You know why? - because many of them don’t even know how to change their own armor! People will think that recruit armor wearers are little kids. Have you even seen how many 10 year-old CoD players are moving into Halo 4? Honestly, look: http://imgur.com/a/PhKHf#0

Recruit armor is my favourite too, so I don’t want to be forced to wear something else. I am very sorry if I’m coming off as rude, but this is actually the biggest problem (out of the very few) that I have with Halo 4.

Not for nothing but, with a name like “Recruit”… it’s a low rank. Of course it’s the starter armor. :stuck_out_tongue:

So just because you think it looks cool, it should be restricted?

What about me? I couldn’t wait to get out of the recruit armor and into something else.

Doesn’t your avitar show your active armor.

I have LE and I really don’t mind that it is just a skin. However what I do mind is it seems the Prime skin is less developed. If you compare Recruit and Recruit Prime you’ll see that the Recruit armor has a sheen to it like everyone else in the armory while Prime is quite dull as if they forgot to put the light map on it. This is most noticeable comparing the arms between the two. I encourage other LE owners to check it out if they didn’t notice that before.

I was also pretty let down by the armor. $100 package and the only way I can tell if anyone has it is if I can see the stripes on the helmet?! And with all the heavy usage of the Warrior armor before H4’s release, I thought that was going to be the starting armor.

Funny thing is, its the complete opposite. Little kids seem to care more about armor than anything else.

I wear Recruit. I wear it because it looks nice. I don’t care what other people think, honestly. All of the other helmets are disgusting looking.

Thanks for the pics. Made me feel all weird and uncomfortable knowing I’m playing against those kinds of people

Lol at this being your biggest problem with Halo 4.

Ranking?.. who needs it!
Good Connection filter?.. what’s that!
Lag Rage?.. awesome!!

lolz

I need help I have mk 6 armor and its cool
but when i access halowaypoint im wearing the recruit armor
even though im obviously wearing something different
help?

Jeese, cry me a river. Just wear the recruit armor. Wear the armor you like best, not the armor that gives you the most “props”. Let your play do the talking.

Not the armor, but how much it’s worth.

I remember in H3 no one wore Mark VI, and in Reach everyone wants Mark VI.
