Like seriously. Practicing FFA repeatedly is how I got my 1v1 skills as good as they got for a while. When I solo que Slayer i get matched with teammates that probably just got the game for Christmas 2020, and in Quickplay all 3 of my teammates quit and i repeatedly got spawn trapped at car bubble on Truth and stood 0 chance.
I’m trying to kind of prepare for Halo Infinite, and i know there is literally nothing we know about the movement of Infinite, but for Pete’s Sake couldn’t they also leave regular “HALO 5” FFA? I understand Majestic Rumble or whatever the hell they call it has thrust and stabilize. But if I wanted the classic Halo feel, then I would just click on MCC. I understand this is a rant, but it LEGITIMATELY pisses me off how they cut FFA for Mythic

Yesssss, I try Octagon but now a days unless you have online friends that play Halo 5 it’s hard to get an Octagon going. I usually just sit there waiting lol

I’ve heard of that, and if so then sweet lol. Whether classic movement or modern I’m excited. But damn, they should at least wait till after they announce Halo Infinite movement at E3 and then I understand because everyone will be flocking to Halo 5 after that.

My guess is end of February - as it says Mythic Rumble replaces default FFA in February

> Population low i say keep both types of ffa playlist more options is good
That wouldn’t work. The already dead FFA would now truly be dead with Mythic Rumble. I can’t even find FFA games on my main account, if I want to play FFA it has to be on another and it usually takes 5-7 to find games on that one. With Mythic Rumble, I am actually finding games just like any other playlist though I have only played one game on this account.
new player here I agree with you mythic rumble is not popular at all compared to FFA.
I mean there isn’t even 200 champions yet in the mode or even a Onyx rank lol.
I like the mythic settings but it would be cool if they just put that along with mythic arena in social or something
I do understand though that they are trying to consolidate playlist and FFA probably was the weakest in Ranked
but then again I missed out on mythic Arena Ranked which I wanted to play so bad lol!

You guys are just too high ranked to realize FFA had a healthy player base to us normal players in plat/diamond. I found matches under a minute. Now there is no true H5 FFA and it pretty much kills multiplayer for those that are FFA diehards. FFA should have been regulated to social.

I don’t buy that, honestly. In terms of getting player feedback, it happened far too late for them to really be able to do much with that information. It feels more like an experiment for the sake of curiosity for whether or not they can blend new and old gameplay successfully. Perhaps they could be collecting information for Halo 7?
