It’s a feature everybody on waypoint loves
We can’t really generalise and say “everyone likes x”.
Spartan Companies were definitely cool, I’ve met sole great people through them.
But I’ve also met a lot of bad people through them too. It’s a mixed bag.
Whilst I did enjoy my time with Spartan Companies I’m hardly surprised they’re going, I kind of thought this would happen a while back.
I will say that it’s not exactly a new trend that Halo has a feature and then it’s gone for the next game, seems to happen a lot.
Support for Spartan Companies was never really there in Halo 5. They launched and that was about it. Nothing ever really came from them after that.
Its possible them may show up again at some point in the future but at the minute they’re not going to be supported anymore. I’m fact as of November 1st the new Waypoint site will be live and companies will be gone. That’s only a few hours away now.
I’m sure Infinite will have its own version of Spartan Companies.

The elimination of rotational playlists really pisses me off. It’s a key component to the title’s online offering and they’ve just outright dismissed it. What a massive disrespectful slap to the face of the remaining community. I swear, for all the good decisions that 343i makes they sure can manage to offset them with clear-cut blunders.

They’re not getting rid of Spartan Companies. The new Waypoint simply won’t let you change anything about them when it comes out
Because 343 are idiots who don’t care about their fan base. They obviously have heard that nobody who’s in a Spartan Company wants them basically disabled.
The only thing that would fix this problem for me, is if they brought back virtually the same feature, but for Infinite, which I don’t think will happen. I’ve given up hope with 343
