Please, no hating or bashing because of how one person feels.
Many people on here have posted that they wish Bungie were making Halo 4 instead of 343i. Why? I don’t understand why it matters.
Also, I see a lot of people saying that Bungie should make Halo 4, but they also say that Reach sucked. Well, why would you want Bungie to make Halo 4 if they made Reach and you hated it?
Some points I’m dying to get across to people:
Many 343i employees are ex-Bungie, so technically, a lot of Bungie is making Halo 4.
Why want Bungie to make Halo 4 if you hated Reach? Do you seriously think that Bungie would create all of these new features for Reach (Sprint, AA’s, ect.), and then just discard them after one game? If Bungie kept making Halo, then I’m 100% sure Halo 4 would still have many features that are exclusive to Reach and Halo 4.
It doesn’t matter who makes Halo 4. Many fans will never be happy. If 343i made Halo 4 almost just like Halo 3, then many people, even maybe a lot of the same who hate 343i and Reach, would complain about how 343i won’t change anything and then say Halo is becoming CoD because it’s the same game every time. If they change something, then people complain about how it’s not like Halo anymore. How do you win?
In my opinion, Halo 4 has to be one of the hardest games to make ever. There are so many different groups of people to cater to that it makes it tough to make. Tthey have tried by bringing back the BR and movement and jump height like Halo 3, and AA’s and Sprint like Reach, and on top of that, they added customizable loadouts and gun camos like CoD. They are trying to cater to the Halo 3 lovers, the Reach lovers, and people from other game communities. Some people like Halo 3 more and some like Reach more. You have to try and cater to both as best you can while also trying to bring in new players by adding things to the game that non-Halo players are familiar with. With all of these different fans to cater to, I have no doubt that Halo 4 is one of the hardest games to make.
Personally, I think that they are doing just fine. I like how 343i is making Halo 4, and I think it will beat any other Halo game. I love and support 343i, all the way!
And most of these complainers haven’t even played the game yet. All of the people who played this game at E3, RTX, and SDCC said it was good so we can assume it will be.
I would be all for Bungie continuing Halo if their hearts were in it, but they clearly weren’t anymore. Bungie wants to move on past Halo to create new worlds for us to escape in and that’s what they do best.
Thankfully we’ve gotten a team solely dedicated to Halo because of their love and passion for it in 343i. Halo 4 looks AMAZING, I think 343i is doing a wonderful job.
This guy knows! It was simply an exaggeration that everybody wanted to believe, and therefore told everybody else that it was true. There are only a few members of 343i that are ex-Bungie, 343i said it is so few that you can count them on one hand.
Oh, and I don’t wish Bungie was making Halo 4, I wish I was making Halo 4.
If you ask me, Bungie wanted to stop making Halo games since halo 3 ended. I just got that feeling personally. They wanted to move on and thats more than okay. I look forward to seeing their next game series where I’m sure I will support them as well as 343i with Halo. The way I see it, we get two great game developers make 2 separate games that both have the chance of being some of the biggest games.

> No, many left Bungie because they wanted to keep working on Halo.
According to Achronos (Bungie employee) and Frankie, you can count the number of ex-Bungie employees on your fingers, possibly even on one hand.
> > I don’t. I like how 343 is actually listening to every facet of the Halo community, not the casuals.

Halo 3 was meh. Bungie always makes the best multiplayer experiences in the shortest amount of time. The longer they spend on a multiplayer game, the worse it is.
