Why would JIP in Halo 5G ranked be bad

I have seen a lot of people say how happy they are that Warzone will have JIP but always say JIP shouldn’t be in ranked and My question is why? In a ranked match it is 4v4 and both teams fighting with a full team truly show who is the better team. However, when people lag out or rage quit it can negatively affect the game by having a man or potentially 3 men down. This is a huge problem because the team with less people have a much harder time winning usually and isn’t really fair while the other team most the time wins the match and can cause very boring gameplay. I understand if you are queuing and get thrown into a match that is half way done is annoying but I think there are ways to prevent that problem for the most part. In Titanfall, if you joined a game really late the match wouldn’t be counted or a loss not added to your record. This system could be improved to take in a account ranks of players, how far a game is, and how much time is left. Those are just my thoughts, what do you guys think about this? I do want to hear from fellow Halo players about this issue/ topic

Because it’s competitive.

In a competitive setting, if a team mate quits, you gotta deal with it. /thread

Because you could join an in-progress game where your team was down a player for a minute, and the other team has a full setup and a large lead, and you are going to lose your rank over something you had no control over

What would be the point? The lobbies reset after each match in ranked. It’s not like Titanfall where you just keep rolling with the same group of players game after game. The matchmaking will always try to find you a new opponent after each match. So you queue into a match that doesn’t count only to have to wait in queue all over again at the end? It would be redundant.

Obviously it would be.

Nobody wants to join a losing game especially in ranked.

I have joined many games that were losing and ended up winning at the end. I have also have had that return to me where my team would be winning and their worse players quit and get replaced by better players and my team loses the game at the end.

Because most of the time when you join an in progress map, your on the team that’s losing by heaps of points and you can’t do a damn thing about it.

Those games were not ranked, why even bring that example up. If I were to go against 4 people of my rank and we’re down 10, it’s going to be hard. JIP is in pubstomping matchmaking, not challenging at all to comeback in Desiny, COD, titanfall, and H4.

So you enjoy 1v4 games?

Because there is no point. Ranked lobbies don’t start a new game after it ends. Everyone has to disconnect and search for another game after each ranked game.
