Many games in BTB have stacked teams, almost every game starts without a full game and I often end up playing against the same people 4+ times every time I play. The playlist is mostly dead, if 343 added new forge maps it would revive it significantly. It has been years and they have not added anything.
Meander, Panic Attack, Voyager, Ancestor, Boulevard, Fracture, Guillotine, Port Authority, Scavenger, Traffic Jam should all be removed. I like most of these maps but some of them just look bad like Port Authority, Traffic Jam , Guillotine and Fracture.Big maps with open world out door areas are my favorite for BTB.
There are so many Forge maps, it shouldn’t take much time for the devs to add 10 new maps in a rotation every 3 or 4 months, then replacing the 10 new ones they add with 10 other new ones. (but keeping Risen, Viking, Dead Heat, Dispelled, Crossbow, Fossil, Hinterlands, Pioneer, Echos and Entombed)They could also add a different set of 10 maps to the big team super fiesta playlist.
While I do agree, Halo 5’s support pretty much ended in 2017-2018 and that was it. I highly doubt 343i will change this much less look at it anytime soon, sad to say but yeah.
This is very sad, I was hoping they could at least add new forge maps for BTB and BTB Super Fiesta, it is not much work, they just have to find good maps.
This is horrible BTB was my favorite Playlist and it’s full of stacked teams and every game doesn’t start at 8vs8 and people come in after it’s started.
If only 343 would find and add new forge maps, replacing the ones I said in my list, too bad, so sad.

This is as much as a dead horse topic just like the ‘Halo 5 on PC?’ topic. It’s never going to happen due to the fact that 343 completely abandoned 5 to develop Infinite. Same goes for Halo Wars 2; as much as that game is good n’ all, 343 stop updating that game to make room for their newest installment.

It took around 9 months to update the 2019 btb playlist. There are a lot of maps out there sure, but that doesn’t mean they hold a standard to matchmaking. The playlist was not doing well in 2018 when work started and it dropped off again pretty quickly after the maps were released. Halo 5 is 6 years old and is not supported anymore. 3 months until Infinite.
