So I’ll work on my Forge map, on Impact, but almost every time I boot it up again, some or all of the changes I’ve made previously don’t save. I hit Save Map every time before I stop. Is this a glitch or just something I’m doing wrong.
Seriously, no one has this problem? Should I just save it as a brand new map every time?
This can be fixed by re-selecting your forge map every time you enter forge. For some reason, if you don’t re-select it, you start back into the previous version of the map before your most recent save.
I’ve had this problem too. Everything is there when I’m forging but when I take it to customs a lot of it is gone. Has only been on impact though and I’ve tried reloading maps too.

I found the fix to this by myself. To make your disappeared forge maps reappear, go to your xbox home menu and press the menu (start) button on your xbox one controller while you have Halo MCC selected. Then select the quit button to force shut down the game. Reopen your Halo MCC game and your disappeared maps will be there.
As happy as I am that my long hours of forge have not gone to waste, 343i should fix this so that it is not this difficult to find our maps.
