20 maps at launch
15 maps post launch
BTB not at launch so do these maps count towards the 20 on day 1 ?
or is there not really 20 maps at launch and 343 are just lying ?
They tell us there are 6 Warzone maps at launch and 6 more post launch!
why won’t they tell us exactly how many Slayer maps there are going to be?
why won’t they tell us how many BTB maps there are going to be?
why won’t they tell us how many break out maps there at going to be?
are they Purposly trying to make us angry or disapointed when the game finally drops?
All I know is, that Id rather be told NOW instead of being let down when the game drops.

After all the hype on youtube surrounding break out I find it hard to believe that 343 would be dumb enough to only release 2 x break out maps at launch.

Has there ever been a time where all Halo maps were revealed before launch? I can’t recall.
Also OP, I assume that Breakout could share maps with Arena, and vice versa.

Yeah providing exact info on downloadable maps this early can’t really be expected of 343i. They are currently, as they should, completely focused on finishing Halo 5. Being so worried about a bunch of FREE content seems wierd to me.
Chill out, my man. There will definitely be 20 maps at launch, plus the 15+ we get for free later on. They obviously wouldn’t reveal all of them at once. No need to worry.
Well break out is said to have it’s own maps seperate from arena slayer.
And the problem I have with it all is, I mainly want to know
A. Is there REALLY 20 maps at launch on day 1 ??? Or are they lying and saying that BTB is a launch title when in reality it’s not it’s released two weeks later meaning that day 1 will NOT hVe 20maps.
B. Is there seriously only 2 break out maps at launch???

Forge and BTBs do not count towards the twenty maps at launch. What does count is Area and Warzone, six for Warzone and fourteen for Arena.
The information u posted I already knew.
It doesn’t help. Because ur wrong about Warzone and BTB sharing maps.
Ur also wrong about breakout and arena sharing maps.
Btb will have it’s own exclusive maps
warzone will have it’s own exclusive maps
break out will have it’s own exclusive maps
and slayer will have it’s own exclusive maps.
ONE OTHER annoying thing is…
btb is classed as arena in halo 5s map list.
so that also makes it impossible to know the map count
When you say there are 14 for arena
keep in mind that BTB is also arena.
All we wanna know is the launch map split.
No ones asking them to show us the maps and why they look like.

I am well aware of that OP. I’m far more on top of Halo news then you appear to be, okay? It’s possible that BTB will be at launch however they aren’t counted since they won’t be in matchmaking until a week later

whenever btb comes around it will either use forge maps or warzone/arena maps.

The 20 at Launch are confirmed to be 14 Arena and 6 Warzone. it is unknown how many breakout maps they are but considering that the 2 from the Beta were built of a forge map (forge maps not being counted in the 20) there could be quite a few at launch.
it is unknown if the BTB maps are coming post launch or if they count for some of the 14.

I know this and this is my entire point.
This is why I am frustrated.
It’s information that should be released.
It’s not the sort of information they should be hiding.
