I ask why no FF in Halo 5 and you want it locked?

Warzone looks awesome so I don’t really care about a lack of firefight.

You ask for Firefight and just about immediatly state that you won’t even be playing Halo 5 making this entire discussion null.
The reason I ask is partly because I’m confident that my regret at FF not being included in the game represents the feelings of thousands of other gamers.
I just can’t fathom why they didn’t put it in. It was/is hugely popular.

343i might not have had the time or assets to implement Firefight into the game. After all they can’t cater to the entire community just because a part of it claims that it is something the entire community wants. I for one rarely played Firefight back in the day, sure it was fun but only a few times.
Besides that, you’re the one calling people who oppose your opinion fanboys so I’d check your statements before you ask others to chill out. Also next time you make a post on a forum expect opposing opinions and respect them instead of denying them and calling them out.

“Was” popular. Meaning its history. When was firefight in a game? Oh yea, reach…many many years ago. There is no “is” popular or it’d be here if it truly were popular and wanted. Lastly like one guy has said your original post is absolutely pointless lol. Why comment if you’re not going to play the game anyways because you lack one minor feature to a game?
Firefight got pretty dull after a while; even with the additional options that Bungie added in Reach I’m certain that I only played it a handful of times for the achievements.
Now, Warzone PVE has more potential. Being able to join-in-progress is great; and if they made Warzone PVE more objective than score-based then it would make a fine replacement for Firefight.

Have you seen the “PVE Warzone” threads? That’s pretty much firefight. And lots of people want it.

Never said no one wants it, I’m saying not enough people care for it to be added.
Reach had an awesome campaign. great multiplayer… some of those maps were awesome to play… and of course invasion. Firefight i wasn’t a big fan of but i know most of the community is… i don’t understand why it couldn’t be put in but thats why i’m not working for 343… great job guys! 7 more days!

Firefight is keeping up with BTB, the most popular playlist, in Reach.
While fire fight was fun for a while it was really static. If it comes back I would be happy, but warzone definitely seems more fun. At the very least no match will be the same in warzone.
I like warzone because it has implementations of firefight. I agree ff was a good game mode but its time to move on and enjoy modernization. Pve+pvp mixup is the best rendition imo. You can just focus the pve element of warzone and ignore the player fights until they come to the pve area and start stuff. Shut em up and keep celebrating grunts birthdays.
Also reach doesn’t have a large community anymore so it wouldn’t be surprising comparing 600-1200 as 34,000 to 2,000.

They could bring it back and improve on its flaws. Just because it wasn’t perfect the first time around doesn’t mean you abandon the idea altogether.
