I remember since I started playing in Halo 3 and going to the theater and being able to take great screenshots and cool little clips of matches I played. What happened to that? That’s one of my favorite parts of the game. I was really disappointed to find out that I couldn’t do it in Halo 5 and had to rely on my Xbox One. Even then the quality of the pictures were better in Halo 4 on my Xbox 360 than now on a “better” system. Why can’t it be back to the way it was before?
Pretty sure Xbox being able to do it natively is why a lot of games are dropping that included feature.
Yea, the screenshots on the one are a little lower resolution then I think we’d all like.
That’s what I’m saying, if they go back to the way it was before, there would be better quality pictures and videos. That’s the depressing thing. Just wish it could be the way it was.
There are many areas of Halo that have gone neglected since 343 took over. Theater is a major one. I don’t understand why it’s in the game if it’s broken and you can’t really share your clips… Just remove the feature. Obviously not a problem when it comes to other features like split screen.
343 really -Yoinked!- up the theater, there are so many problems with it. At first I didn’t even know how to record using the Theater, then I found out you have to use the Xbox DVR. Well, we should be able to get clips from different angles without too much hassle, amirite!?!?
Ya and the excuse that the xbox does it natively is terrible. It records video in 720p and lowers the resolution of images. Plus, why would I want to have to open another app and use different software, when previously I could do it all in game and organize it much better. Now it’s just a cluttered mess.
