So the Halo 5 beta had its share of problems, but it worked great for being 9 months before release. But, people still do not have faith in 343 after the MCC disaster. If 343 gives another beta, even if it is only for 2 days, and they made sure it went on without a hitch, it would restore faith in 343. Of course, if the beta worked as good as the BO3 beta then everyone would lose faith, but if it worked as good as the hardline beta, everyone would have their faith restored in 343. It would be as perfect time to test warzone as well. So please 343, do a second beta so people can have their faith restored.

I know they are testing and Halo 5 will probably be fine, but some people still don’t have faith in 343, and a beta test that works will restore faith and help boost sales as well
I don’t think I can think of a game that has had TWO public Beta’s. The game is pretty much finished, with it being 2 months from shipping. People who don’t have faith in 343 can wait for reviews on the game before they buy.
The only reason you want another beta is to play more Halo 5 because you can’t wait for Oct. 27th.
While I can’t fault you for that, your motivation for this post comes from a place of greed. It’s like Christmas for children. We just have to wait.

We had a public beta and a lot of people have said that 343 has gone in the right direction. Sorry but a second beta is needed for those who still don’t have faith in 343. They probably wouldn’t even after a second beta. It’s not needed, plus it takes a lot of resources to set one up. Stop asking for second betas it’s not going to happen.

Elder Scrolls Online had tons of beta’s
It worked well the first time they released the beta. No need for a second one. If these same people see that Halo 5 releases without any problems and is getting high ratings not just from gaming websites but actual fans, then their interest will be piqued.
I just have the slight suspicion that you only want a second beta because the trailer got you pumped and that you can’t wait any longer to play. It’s going to be okay.

As much as I would love a second beta, here are my reasons as to why I don’t think it’s necessary, or going to happen publically.
- They don’t need to make another one, when they already have a private beta going on.
- The ‘faith’ that people have lost in 343 will not be brought back by a second beta, if they lost faith in 343’s ability to make Halo, not much is going to change their mind, unless they buy and play the full game.
- They will still be tweaking things all the way up until launch, including but not limited to the weapon damage, sprint/walking speeds, pretty much everything. They can easily send through a patch to get it set up perfectly before launch. If they allowed everyone to publically test it before they are done tweaking things, all that will happen is another flood of ‘BR IS TOO OP’, or ‘AR CAN’T KILL ANYONE’, etc, etc.
- The sheer thrill that people are getting from anticipation is enough to keep the hype going. The fantastic PR campaign that 343 has put out for Halo 5, is just amazing. The Hunt The Truth, New Championships, The Sprint, etc. It’s just going to be all the better for them to make us wait, as much as it kills me to say it.I understand your want for another beta, and the need to grasp at straws to have them produce another… but it’s not going to happen. Sorry.
Why we should have a second beta:

I’m surprised there wasn’t for Warzone during E3 because that mode needs balancing, but they said they’re doing a buttload of tests to make it work.

I hope not. I just spent £50 on MGS V to tide me over till Halo 5. Im not going to get a fraction of the way through it if they release a beta.
If people still don’t believe in 343, then they’ll just be left behind and will miss out. Meanwhile, I’ll be completely consumed with Halo 5 and my grades are probably going to suffer because of it.
