Ever since the Ghosts of Meridian update, when you sprint and jump and thrust, then try to sprint again, it will not allow you to. I am kinda disappointed this isn’t here anymore because I used it quite often.
if i’m not wrong it was reported as a bug
I thought that was removed in the prior big update.
I can still spring out of jumps. Try updating your controller.

Im able to sprint after sprint jump thrusts.
They did do away with it sadly, I noticed the moment the update came out.
