Why was there a Gravity Hammer in the Didacts ship?

I am beginning to wonder why the Didact had a Gravity Hammer on his ship, none of the promithians even use other weapons.

I always assumed that was a trophy room of sorts. That’s why he had weapons from each of the three factions on display.

I figured it was just aboard some Storm ship and he was like “Ok why not.”

Like Exuberant Witness on Genesis with her little collection of species, I always assumed the room where you find the weapons to be a collection of sorts. Covenant technology was basically reverse-engineered from Forerunner technology, so it could not so much be a trophy room, but maybe he, the Didact, intended on studying it when he had the time to see exactly what the Covenant had done.
