man I’ve been feeling nostalgic these days IPA de I can’t stop wondering why the original trilogy was sooo good. Sure the new games are “Ok” but nothing beats the originals.
So so how could we as fans bring halo back to its glory days !?

Well one they could go back to playing those old games. I’ve seen some chatter on the forums recently about people logging onto Halo 3 to “re-light” the population map. If we all get back on and play thats one way to do it.
Because they had to be good, Bungie(at the time) had high standards.

They also fought for and had more independence from Microsoft, something 343i doesn’t have.

Bungie’s high standards didn’t result in a flawless game by any means; I can make a longer list of the bad in Halo 2 out of the box than I can make of the good.
It’s true, though, that they had independence. They literally made the game how they wanted, which is why there has been tons of criticism over the years from HCE to H2 and H2 to H3, then even worse from H3 to Reach and others. It just seems like their whole first trilogy was a big experiment, consistently drifting away from their foundation.
I always found it interesting that the M6D Pistol (probably the most fun weapon I have used in the Halo franchise - not PC versions) was a last minute change and an accident.
The first trilogy in terms of Multiplayer (which is what has made Halo what it is, not Campaign) is so good for a couple of reasons…
Those are my thoughts
