Why was I dropped from Platinum to Gold?

I lost a game (3v4 CTF) in Arena at the bottom of Platinum 1. After the game I was top of Gold 6…

I really just want to know if this is a bug or if 343i changed the system so you can go back down ranks now. Or if it’s something else…

Hey OP, there was a change made recently to allow deranking through divisions :slight_smile:

Been plenty of threads involving this. It is true. 343 did mention it but not large enough for everyone to be aware. Is it just this season? That I’m sure we don’t know.

Hey all! Thanks so much for all your responses! My questions are answered! I have only been playing a little over a month now and actually never deranked until this weekend. I like that you can derank a lot! Makes me feel like I’ve earned the ranks I get after playing enough games.
