Why was I banned?? Help!

I just received an 18 hour ban playing Halo 5. I haven’t quit in the middle of a game but 3 or 4 times in the past week or so. I know Ive accidently killed a few of my team mates getting them in the crossfire. 18 hours seems a bit excessive. Can anyone help explain why I have received this?
