That song was just amazing… I would have preferred that one over the same remixed classic halo theme song, the beta one gave it a fresh feeling to the game.
Ps: I know the current songs have some parts of the beta, but for example, the very beginning of the beta song was removed.

I loved just listening to that song with my headset on over and over.
Have to disagree, the beta song was rather meh. The menu song we have now is great. I really like that piano part.
Loved the beta song and I miss it. However, I don’t know what this says about the iconic-ness of 343’s music in comparison to Bungie’s, but I didn’t notice it was gone until reading this forum post :l
