Why was Forge not included at launch of Halo 5?
343 spent the resources that was ment for it on Adderall and cookies from walmart
Because they wanted to release a forge that actually worked the way it’s supposed to, I’d rather wait until December than have a broken forge.
Because they can release games these days that are 50% complete and roll them out over the next 6 months as updates.
Essentially they say they needed more time to work on it.
So we feel special when we eventually get it, like it’s a bonus or something.

Same.
Because we live days where gamers are ok to buy a game half finished.

Has enough content for me. If you don’t like it then just play MCC or different games until there’s enough for you. At least it’s free unlike some games where it’s half finished and the other half is paid DLC xD
It’s being made perfect a great game takes time by December this game will be finished and done and big team battle will be back

And hasn’t enough for many people. So what?

Next time, when we have to wait 6 months to have a finished game, will it be ok? Then one year to have BTB (since you seem to like it), will it be ok? What is your limit?

Fixed that for you. But seriously, Forge is being revamped and 343 decided it was best that it was delayed now rather than be broken at release. One could argue that it should have been ready in the first place, but I don’t know what causes development decisions.
Forge was delayed because a lot of the current maps are so similar it style it’s become bland and feel almost like they are polished up forge maps, so when forge finally comes out we won’t complain about how the default maps are so redundant. Well this mostly comes from playing too much Warzone since they use the same exact home bases for all three map variants.

If the game was incomplete, then they should have either delayed it or lowered the price. It’s not ok to charge your customers full price for a product that isn’t finished.
because it wasn’t, anything else you need to know?

Technically the game was finished when it went gold.
And about lowering the price, people paid full price for Halo CE and 2 and neither of them had Forge or Firefight or Theatre.

you got plenty for your $60 and will get even more for nothing, in a day and age where we all get nickle and dimed in every game we play it baffles me how people can criticize 343 for the value they have provided.

I would much rather have it like it is than to have it delayed simply because the Forge mode isn’t ready. Your logic is just stupid. Why delay the entire game for two months just because the Forge isn’t ready, which by the way a lot of people don’t even c care about. Also it’s gonna be free anyway so what does it matter. If this was such an issue to you then you shouldn’t have bought the game yet and waited.

They were complete games at the time. Forge, Theater, and Firefight weren’t a part of the Halo experience either. Now they are, so a main installment to the Halo franchise should always include certain features that customers have come to expect.
Notice I said main installment, so please don’t try to bring up ODST, as that was a spin-off of Halo 3.

I, too, long for the day where developers simply hit send on their content and that was the end of their involvement.
