In the beginning of Halo’s franchise, Halo dominated the market. CoD was bland for a long time, and most gamers rushed to grab a copy of Halo 2. That era is over, and I truly believe it is Halo 4’s fault. Let’s go back in time for a moment shall we? Halo 3 had 200,000+ gamers online consistently. I know population is not the deciding factor if a game is good or not (then CoD would be much better, wouldn’t it?) but Halo 4 falls short. I also think we all know why, this game doesn’t feel like Halo. Does it have Halo’s weapons? Yes. Does it have energy shields, and aliens? Yes Does it fell like Halo? No. In my experience, people buy a shooter game for it’s multiplayer. Halo’s multiplayer is all about equal footing off start arena shooting. Halo 4’s multiplayer is a class based arcade shooter. Halo shouldn’t be whoever shoots first wins, but with the fast killtimes of any halo, and most aim-assist and bullet magnetism; yes it is whoever shoots first wins. Halo was a tactical, strategic game, now it’s a cheap CoD knock off. I’m disappointed that Halo had to “evolve” into a modern shooter, but the original formula was working. I remember that when a new Halo came out, I would play that one solely and not look back. Even Reach had the Halo feel to it, so I kept playing that game. With Halo 4? I’ve been playing Reach, Halo 3, Forza 4, Skyrim, stuff like that. I could pop a Bungie Halo game in my disc tray, and never take it out (slight exaggeration). So why is the game broken? It’s too much like CoD, and no TU’s will ever shake that feeling. How can anyone say this is the best Halo, when it’s hardly a Halo game at all? The fact that I’m on this forum instead of playing the game should say something as well. Well that’s my rant, so I’m just going to strap on my flamesuit and be prepared for the heat.

“This game is the best game in Halo history” You probably started with this game, and yeah it’s pretty good for a Call of Duty game.
“Y u no like loadouts lol” They helped kill Halo.
“Halo 5 will be better lol, stick with the game” Hopefully 
“You liked Reach, you suck” Yes I did, and Reach is 10x the game Halo 4 is.
“TU will fix the game” Might fix weapon balance, but core feel? No.
“2/10 troll is fail, thread is fail” Not trolling.
