its really frustrating when you lose one or two matches you rank down its really annoying like in halo 3 like i’m stuck being a major grade 3 especially when you start 4v4 and 3 players quit on your team it just made things worse when you quit you still rank down it doesn’t happen on halo reach.
Because cumulative rank means nothing at all.

Yup Spartan Rank is the progression rank and CSR is the Competitive ranking.
The punishment for losses is too great. I get +5 xp for wins and -15 or -25 for losses. It’s broken.

ya its pretty -Yoinking!- lame that i had 5.3 k/d in one game but still lost 15 xp or w/e just because my teammates are garbage. i think maybe if you have a great k/d like that, you should at least keep your place in the ranking or w/e.

I agree. I don’t like the Halo 3 ranking system and love the Halo Reach ranking system. Took forever to rank up and a load of matches. I hope they bring back the Halo Reach ranking system back or even then to some specific game modes.
