I made the change to all digital because I’m lazy and I don’t wanna stand up each time I wanna change the game. Either way we do have to install games on the internal storage now, so discs are useless, unless you wanna share your game, or sell it later on.
So I was thinking, if I can Pre-order de Campaign from the Microsoft Store, why don’t I get the same pre-order bonuses 343i is offering at certain retailers? Like I’m still pre-ordering the game, why do I not get the same benefits?
I do understand pre-order bonuses are meant to boost sales and stuff, but how come that happens if the company benefits more from me buying the game at the Microsoft storefront than from buying it at a retailer. Since there is no “save this game on this disc, ship it and sell it” process for digital games, and they’re still sold at the same price, and I am buying it ON THE STORE INCLUDED IN THE CONSOLE FOR WHICH THIS GAME IS MADE FOR, why do we not recieve those rewards too?
I’m just complaining because the lackluster customization options from this game has me begging for all the “free” content I can get from anything just to feel a bit special, and I don’t wanna buy that from internet scalpers on ebay that sell the “free” content at way too much of an overpriced ammount of money. And I say “free” 'cause I know content from promotions aren’t free at all, but whatever.
Just give your own storefront the pre-order benefits and I’ll be happy.
