Why there are no brute wepaon reqs in halo 5

Many people ask “Why is there no spiker?” Well the reason for that is that warzone is a simulation of a real battle and since brutes left the covenant and probably killed eachother into extinction, Unsc does not include brute weaponary (Except the gravity hammer because its damn awesome) because it is probably not fabricated anymore.

Gravity Hammer and Brute Variant plasma rifle. But honestly wouldn’t count it since it’s just a red version of the Elite Plasma Rifle.

Given that Multiplayer is canonically wargames on the Infinity, it could be that we dont have most of the Brute weapons because the UNSC hasn’t been at war with the Brutes in a while, so they’re focusing their training on the Sangheilli and Prometheans. That said, I’m hoping Halo 6 includes the Infinity arriving at the Ark and meeting up with the Spirit of Fire, which would provide a lore reason to re-introduce Brute weapons into the campaign and multiplayer.

I’m going to shut that explanation down right now. If Warzone (and just War Games in general) is a simulation, what stops the UNSC from taking data collected from the Human-Covenant War, as well as whatever actual samples of weapons they may have, and implementing them into the simulation?

In addition to that, the Jiralhanae have yet to drive themselves to extinction. Lydus’ pack was still kicking around in 2558, the Keepers of the One Freedom are also still out and about, and, of course, we have the Banished, not to mention the numerous Jiralhanae laborers employed by Sangheili, as well as any other Brute-led Covenant remnants that still exist.

Thank you for clarifying it and I hope we have the banished in halo 6

I want the chooper and the weapons of Halo 3 and why not, some vehicles of Halo Wars 2

Since there will probably be no more content to Halo 5 since all the planned updates ended we could see them in Halo 6

Well, in the game’s files you can actually find weapons with Brute scopes and the Spiker etc.

I hope Halo 6 brings about more banished and Promethean weapons and vehicles. e.g. Promethean tank.

We will see em in Halo 6 I trust!

to clarify, there are early prototypes for;

  • The Spiker - a brute sniper - a brute rocket launcher - and a brute grenade launcher/mortar type thing which might be a very early brute shot
