I don’t understand is just feels so random and unnecessary. If it was a new character and she was gay no big deal. Kelly has shown intimate feelings about John in FOR. Wow I just don’t know what to say I loved this character and grew up with Blue Team reading the novels in middle school thinking I knew about their character.

Are you sure you just aren’t confused by the name of the author? Because the new novella was written by Kelly Gay.

Laughed my -Yoink- off for some reason at this. Now I’m just waiting for this to be a confirmed fact or joke so I can laugh even harder

Even if this was the case, why is someone’s sexuality an issue? One can just as easily interpret Kelly’s relationship with john to be that of a brother-sister relationship* as much as one could interpret it as a romantic one.

*Which is how I interpret their relationship in the novels, just as I view John’s relationship with the rest of Blue Team. I also a little bit (and I am heavily emphasising on the word little here) more accepting of the idea of Linda and John being “together” in any way than I am of Kelly and John for a few reasons (not all close guy and girl relationships need to be romantic), however that’s just my view on the matter.

People who think Blue Team need to start humping eachother, probably need something to hump themselves. Who cares if for some reason she was gay. She’s still an amazing soldier, leader, and companion.

I hope this just a bad joke.Also we don’t really know the sexualities of the spartans in the Blue team. I am a bit against giving them any romantic relationships in the future anyway but that’s just my opinion.
