Where do people hate it?
Im a little bit sick of it tbh because all I heard for the last two weeks is Warzone here and Warzone there. The gametype just doesnt look that interesting to me and I want to see more things about other parts of H5G.

“Oh my God, there’s microstransactions, I’m automatically going to assume that the entire game is pay-to-win! Screw you, 343!”
“Why do we have a full range of customization options, that makes the game completely unbalanced which doesn’t even matter because it’s a casual game mode!”
Ok, maybe that was a bit of a stretch, but you get the point. People just complain for the sake of complaining.
IKR people were excited for halo 5 before they announced warzone but now theyre gonna winge and whine I don’t see why they don’t have to play it!
Most of the disappointment originated from 343’s statement that Warzone was to replace Firefight and Spartan Ops and to be honest I don’t really blame those who got upset about that. Don’t get me wrong, Warzone looks amazing, but there’s no variant in which there’s only PvE which quite some people have been craving.

I’m sorry… You’re right. There’s so much ‘discussion’ to be had talking about what people think…
I’ll start by sitting here and putting everyone I disagree with on a pedestal while I retaliate them with my indirect intolerance.
I was hoping for a pure PvE mode, or at least the ability to play MP with bots in Custom Games (much like UT2004, Quake III Arena, even recent COD games). I don’t hate Warzone, it’s just that I don’t like PvP in general; having a pure PvE mode, or being able to play Arena/Warzone with Custom Game bots would have been preferable.
You all have a PVE mode I don’t understand the problem it is called campaign!!!
I have not seen any Warzone hate. It is 24 players, with AI bots, land and air vehicles, AND JIP. It is like an improved BTB. Really doesn’t get much better than that.

Welcome to the internet where people read the headlines and not the body of the archive and complain first. If anyone took the time to read the blog posts and articles instead of jumping on the bandwagon in the comments, they would actually come to rational justification that the sky isn’t falling.
I’m personally looking forward to Warzone. I think it’s going to be a fun mode!

I see where so!e people are coming from. But spartan ops and firefight just feel half baked. It was just a mode to make people think the game had more content. Warzone just seems more fleshed out than those 2

Agreed 100%. Firefight in Reach was terrible
What hate, who’s upset. I haven’t seen any of this hate you’re talking to about. I’ve seen some suggestions and opinions towards this gametype. But it certainly isn’t anything to get worked up over.
What hate?
You may not be looking at the broader community, just about every game publication I’ve read has praised Warzone as a good step forward for Halo and people who have played it have praised its chaotic and intense gameplay. It sounds like it will promote a really good balance between competitive arena game types and the laid back, fun gameplay. I thought it looked great.
Honestly, the only people that hate on warzone are the people that hate on Halo 5. These people are the ones that won’t play anything other than 4v4 team slayer. They don’t like the idea of having a tactical game mode that requires team work, and has a range of weapons and vehicles to choose from. Basically they don’t see it as competitive so they don’t like it. Most people like the look of warzone, myself included and it has gotten a lot of praise from media outlets.
Only a minority dislikes warzone, but for some reason they always have the biggest voice, making what is actually just a few people seem like many.
